    Suggestion: change the control model of periscope to mouse

    In game, we use "T/Y" to turn the periscopes left or right, but there are many problems:

    1. It has too slow traverse speed, compare with the real, if I want to look from left to right, the time is too long.
    2. The periscopes can't look up and down. Many tanks, like T-34-85, the periscopes of commander, gunner, loader can turn 360 degree and look up and down, but by using "T/Y" keys, we can't do that.

    So why not move the periscope by mouse? It will moving quick, sensitive, accurate, the "mouse control model" will more real and playable than the "key control model".

    There is a way to change the speed of periscope. It is under investigation.

    Yes, u're right. But I'd like to note, that in the most cases periscope (sight device) has ability to pitch up/down. Ie, Jagdtiger has such ability. The problem is that pitching up/down been assigned to the gun. AI think that it is gun, in fact it is sight. So, in some cases it is possible to implement, but needs some limitations.

    Many tanks, like T-34-85, the periscopes of commander, gunner, loader can turn 360 degree and look up and down, but by using "T/Y" keys, we can't do that.
    Yes, unfortunately there is only one way how to attach the mouse - it is a gun and nomore else. But it is only in case of the gunner. All other crewmembers has a theoretical ability to pitch the sight.

    So why not move the periscope by mouse? It will moving quick, sensitive, accurate, the "mouse control model" will more real and playable than the "key control model".
    This is a good idea, especially for the freshmen! I'm ready to sign it up, but once again - without source code we can do nothing Sad

    Please remember about the commander's game mode (by default activated with "F" key), when you use the mouse to point targets and waypoints.
