    I'm working with mission N9 of the Campaign WoV(T-34/85) and in one epizode I've managed to hit the KT from ~400meters! It was a penetrated shot. I'm not sure is it correct or not. But I was very lucky to shot down such beast! Cool

    Well that definitely feels wrong, not that I'm a huge German armor fan or anything, but the thickness of the upper glacis plate + the slope angle should surely make it impregnable to regular 85mm AP at 400m - however, the poor quality of German armor in the later war period might be the simplest reason for such an occurence Very Happy

    It's impossible. The armor penetration of the T-34-85 gun is no more than 120 mm at the distance 300 meters. The frontal glacis armor of Pz.VI is 150 mm.

    The most likely explanation is that it is a game thing.

    I guess, it is a bug of the 3D model. Though, I hardly believe that frontal glacis has a slits or "open edges". It is a plain surface. I remember there was a bug, which caused a d_hole (black cylinder located inside of the tank, where tankers had a seat) for the members crew, but this case is completely out of my mind.
    Anyhow, we've a chance to find out this case more precisely on the base of the mission N9, Campaign "Weapon of the victory!".
