How to get match missions to their short file names

Post by bupar on Tue Apr 11, 2017 5:40 am

Trying to find a text file that might hold both the long mission names you see in the game and the short names used in the Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942 - STA2.2\data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS subfolders.

Not all the filenames approximate the mission names in the game and this makes copying the right files for mission editing frustrating. Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes

I tried looking in the text files under Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942 - STA2.2\data\k42\loc_rus\text. Some do hold the long mission names but not the short filenames as far as I can figure out. Crying or Very sad

I must be missing something somewhere. Any help from modders with more experience appreciated. Help

it's not easy deal, but possible to find where the mission script is located happy
There are several files, which has a short file-container of three missions files:...data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\camp\
    - bar_camp.engcfg
    - final_camp.engcfg
    - gmp_10.engcfg
    - gmp_20.engcfg
    - gmp_30.engcfg
    - gmp_40.engcfg
    - KY2_camp.engcfg
    - KY_camp.engcfg
    - main_camp.engcfg
    - orel_camp.engcfg
    - orelrkka_camp.engcfg
The description of each file is located here: data\k42\loc_rus\levels\LEVELS\camp\camp_list.engcfg
