    There will be a new mission devoted to American tank "Sherman" M4A2. Action will take place in the airfield near Tobruk.

    According to my experience, good mission depends on 90% from the GOOD scenario!
    9% from good polygon
    1% from good script
    Cool 
    It does we need help from our famous writer forever - Mr. FRINIC!
    I'd like to suggest as a main hero - Lieutenant Billy Thorn. He'll be commander of the tank platoon: 3x M4A2.
    The main tasks:
    - don't give German pilots take a seat in the planes (optional)
    - destroy 5 German planes on the airfield
    Also, I'd like to implement the trigger of rewarding and see what happens. May be Lieutenant Thorn will be promoted in case of mission success!

    Mr. Frinik will require basic info in order to write GOOD scenario.This means early access to the new map. And a description of the mission envisaged( units involved, who's attacking, who's defending and a rough outline of the proposed mission like take the airfield etc....Also Please bear in mind Mr. Frinik does not yet have the internet at home except for his cell phone which is not suitable for writing scenarios thus writing the scenario is contingent on Mr. Frinik getting the internet installed at home which the local company/provider promised 4 times but has not yet delivered on their promise... Evil or Very Mad

    GBR
    - 9x M4A2
    - 6x APC UC+infantry
    - 3x GMC trucks+infantry

    GER
    - 5x ME-109(stationary)
    - 10x pilots
    - 5x Pak 38
    - 2x Sdkfz 7/1
    - 2x infantry platoon
    - 3x MG-34
    - 5x towers
    - 5x fueltrucks Opel
    - 3x Fiat L6-40
    - 5x Pz IVF1

    Two days early airfield belonged to British side, but was captured by advanced group of African Corps. Now at the airfield 5x German airplanes placed to intercept British air supply.
    Lieutenant Thorn received order to destroy aircrafts and pilots, then move to the area of Tobruk to join with main British forces.

    Why not include Mathildas and LeeM3 on the British side as well?. Panzer III Ausf J and Panzer II Cs for the Germans.

    I don`t want to make mission complicate. First of all, it is etalon mission for the M4A2.
    And user always has ability to re-make mission at his taste!  king

    Thanks to both efforts YL and Donken finally, I've managed to put in the game "Hangar #2(closed doors)"  Cool  This model won't be destroyable and there will be another model "Hangar #2(opened doors)".

    I'd like to ask: did any `Marders` take part in the structure of "Afrika Korps"?
    I'd like to use `Marders` as AT guns to protect the airfield.

    Update.
    As it appeared MarderIII took place in Africa Korps only in the Autumn 1942. It does in November 1941 there were only Panzerjäger I(47mm gun).

    That's a draft scheme of the airfield. User must destroy all airplanes and additionally pilots from near village(optional task).


    Suppose it looks similar  Smile Though, may be I should replace the texture of the sky and add more palms/bushes.

    Lockie if you absolutely want to respect historical data then take comfort in the fact that the British did not have the Sherman M4A2 in November 1941 either.... So why don't you place the mission in September 1942 when both Marder and Sherman were present and problem solved. Anyway these missions are far from being historically accurate and it's OK

    I defined too many meters for the palm height Smile Will be adjusted, also I will add more green to the "desert bushes".
    The main problem is - the new buildings/units. During mission making they have testing and of course it'll take too much time to iron out them. But the main test when user start the mission!  sunny

    German force has two lines of defence:

    1. Infantry
    2. AT artillery
    Suppose, 8 British tanks would not be enough to get this defence over Smile
    But I can always decrease the number of AT guns on the lowest balance;) Well, I think there will be only two playable balances: 1 and 2  Razz 

    British is about to be equiped with truck "Bedford".

    Would be interesting to implement two new objects:
    1. Air watch tower
    2. Net gates
    But it'll be future project, coz for the one mission it asking a lot Smile

    I've idea to give user more freedom in maneuver. I.e. 3 tanks under user command are waiting when the main force come. It's approximately ~5min
    During this period user may start attack and decide in which direction he will make maneuver. Then he'll will get radio-message: main force is ready to attack. And after a couple minutes the main attack will start.

    I'll make a suggestion, the airport should be set on AA guns, such as FLAK 88.

    Two Flak36 will be placed on the "defence line #2". First appear on the balance 4 and second on 5. And there will be 4 Sdkfz.7 on the airfield depends on balance.
    Red circles are places for Sdkfz.7.
