Have skins for the JS-2 & ISU-122 tanks.  These skins are modeled from photos, these skins are modeled as close as my could to the original JS-2 & ISU-122 paint schemes used, but they are not exact.

Note... *There is still some extra work needed for these skins and they are best used with the regular Soviet "rkka_comp" Tactical Marks at this time, this can be done with the "Mission Editor".*

Also have added a 1944, ISU-122 skin and reworked & made corrections to the original skins I had posted, so you may want to redownload the new versions.  Smile

Note... *By taking off your eyeglasses or just squinting your eyes really hard, may help in correcting any of these mistakes or defects.*  Jumping

    Installation with JSGME.

Any credit must be added to the original author/authors that made these base JS-2/ISU-122 skins that I used to make these late war skins.

    Thanks for the mod!
I've installed it, but have a couple questions.
    1. Why the number of unit is always 24?
    2. The surface of the wheels doesn't look realistic. It should look like a steel.
    3. The handle of the shovel has a green color. I think it is wrong color.

zet35... 1. Why the number of unit is always 24?

Had originally made this ISU-122 skin and the JS-2 for some Splash Screens I was working on. So there was no need for the skin to have different numbers, also from information, drawings and photos, on this particular ISU-122 that I used for a model, along with the "White air recognition marking" used during the Berlin operation, April 1945, the number was placed on upper frontal hull of the ISU-122.

    http://www.o5m6.de/isu_122.html

But will work on correcting this. Smile

zet35... 2. The surface of the wheels doesn't look realistic. It should look like a steel.
                  3. The handle of the shovel has a green color. I think it is wrong color.

Reworked the bogie wheels and the pick & shovel handles. Does this look more realistic? Smile

    zet35... Thanks for the mod!

Glad you enjoyed the Berlin ISU-122 skin, will have a reworked version of the Berlin ISU-122 skin soon.  Smile

Will also have this earlier 1944 ISU-122 skin for release, just need to learn some better OE skills at the moment to finish both projects.   Embarassed

This is a new updated 10/25 version of the JagdPanther skin to release.

This skin is based on a early 1945, unknown Jagdpanther, Eastern front unit paint scheme.

Have tried to model this skin as close as I could to the original paint scheme used, but it is not exact.

The Jagdpanther (unknown sPzAbt), Eastern front, early 1945 skin is best used with one of the STA SF "Siege of Budapest or Battle of Budapest missions, along with a Winter Season/Snow/no Snow/Muddy mod.

And how to use the ME/Mission Editor to change to a player JagdPanther tank. salute

    A: There are two ways:

    Skin looking great! Smile
Only one small suggestion, find some tutorial on creating new bumpmaps for the skins - I'd link you one, but I'm no expert on making them either - to remove the 'bumpiness' effect used for the old spotted Ambush camo.

Thanks, and also for the tip.

Yes, this is very much a "learning process" step by step affair, and must give a lot of credit to the "original Skin Maker's" for the hard work and excellent tank & vehicle skins they provide us with.  salute

But I just so happen to have a reworked version of the "Jagdpanther (unknown sPzAbt), Eastern front skin" and have posted a new download link, please checkout the above post for a new download link. cheers

Have a new T-34/techn_t34_76_c skin to release and it is based upon the Soviet "1st Guards Tank Brigade" that fought during the Battle of Moscow 1941-1942.

Try this skin with the T-34 (pl. n-183) tank using the ME or along with the "Capture Shestakovo T-34/76 mission" with the Snow or No Snow Winter Season Mods.  Smile

    Cool

Getting ready for a new skin release for a King Tiger II and it is based on a 1944 45 late war Ad-Hoc crew applied ambush pattern paint scheme. With paint on short supply, crews used what they could find at the time.

I have two versions, but will release only one version of the KT skin.

My question is which version do you think is more fitting/accurate or is just the better skin?

Thanks for any input or thoughts.  Smile

I like them all tbh, but I can't seem to tell the difference between the last two? Also, regarding the first one, the grey paint looks a bit out of place, I think they didn't use any at that point in the war, neither as base paint or for camo purposes.

The only really comment I have is that the spots are too big, imho - even in the ref image you posted they seem a lot smaller. Smile

kapulA... Thanks for the reply and input.

the grey paint looks a bit out of place

I was using a German WWII paint chart and a German WWII camo chart for my referances in making these skins, also they are still WIP, so changes will be made. My question was more for which skin I'll be using and working with. Instead of wasting time on three skins that people would not want.

As far as the grey paint, as I stated, "With paint on short supply, crews used what they could find". Also that reference drawing I posted is using the same  "grey paint".  Wink

I can't seem to tell the difference between the last two?

The screenshot has lost the shade difference between the last two skins.  So I'll take one down and just use one. Also those particular colors are a little problem for me as I'm color blind. But as far as I'm concerned they look perfectly fine to me!  cheers

    spots are too big, imho

I'll work on those and make them a bit smaller in the final release. The skins are based on crew applied field paint schemes, as I stated.. "based on a 1944 45 late war Ad-Hoc crew applied ambush pattern paint scheme".

Here is a color photo of a KT that is one of my reference photos and you can see that the spots are fairly large on the KT. Also have not found to many "real" color photos of KT's to use for reference.

Again thanks for your reply & comments.  Smile

kapulA... Using your recommendations and incorporating them, such as smaller spots, here is a more adjusted 1944-45 King Tiger "Ad-Hoc Crew Applied Ambush Pattern" paint scheme, skin.

One of the most distinctive changes I made are the smaller "Spots", but there are other changes and there a few more that are needed.

Are there any other members that think or would want more adjustments or for say, would want the other version as posted above? salute

kapulA...  Again thanks for your input, as making a skin still very much a continual learning curve, as shown by what has been provided from the members of this community, over these years.

Again, thank you for your recommendations. Smile

After a very lengthy late night meeting of the minds, between the Spray Paint & the Field Mod crew members, along with the help of a few liberal liquid libations to help improve the quality of the discussion of which "1944-45 King Tiger "Ad-Hoc Crew Applied Ambush Pattern" paint scheme skin" to release. drink

We have come to the overwhelming conclusion that both "Skins" should be released. viking
