    Знайшов ролик наших японських друзів про роботу вогнемета на танку Черчіль.
    Не все ідеально (немає вогняного струменю), але і так робота зроблена чудово.
    I've found video with a fire-thrower tank Churchill. Author is Hiyo Kibi. (I think he is the same person Kibihiyo).

    There are some issues with a fire stream and soldiers are not on fire, but in common case this fire trick looks great! Bravo! Sound firethrower is wonderful!

    So the flames kill infantry, how are armored vehicles and pillboxes affected?

    This firethrower is a substitute.
    At the first, I wanted to use "%WEAP_FIRETHROWER% and %FLAME%"script when i looked script in "weap_defs.engcfg". but these scipt didn't work. Crying or Very sad
    So. That firethrower is substituted by "machingun shoot  few splinter HE ". and It does not fire to people unless stay in the weapons(ex. Tank, APC...).

    Do you know a script that the ammunition to fire? Now is part of "0x12"(releasing the smoke).

    AFAIK, there is only one effect is available for the shell it is smoke. No fire.
    Did u try weapon WEAP_THROW? It is grenade. Also I think it's possible to place something as a shell model during fly.
    Like this:

    At this moment script has:

    I've added fire to the effect "smoke_path". So, now there is a mixing of smoke and fire. As my point, it looks suitable for both weapons:
    - reactive rockets (RS-82)
    - firethrower
    There is presented a Nebelwerfer 41 on the images during testing.


    As we can see there was a big fire tail after rocket. So, may be fire effect should be increased.


    I've added fire to the line in the block parts_groups_desc()

    Here's default parameters of the effect fire:

    where:
    fire - effect name
    1 - thickness (number of particles spawned at once eg: for this smoke column each puff is 15 particles)
    4 - height (lifespan of the particles)
    0.3 - width of the effect at the beginning
    0.8 - width of the effect at the end
    1 - wind effect
    0.05 - wind modifier, higher means blown by wind more
    0 - direction of the effect spreading (1-down, 0-up)
    0.4 - "weight" of the particle ("-" - down, "+" - up)
    0.1 - modifier of the side effect thickness
    1 - particles speed, higher means particle moves faster
    0 - ?
    fire_sphere0 - 3D model of effect
    0x00000004 - texture transparency (alpha channel)
    sh_add - shader for the effect (Microcode program. Means it uses the two following colors and blends between them over the life of the particle)
    0xffFFE081 - start color
    0xff - (0-255) hex alpha value
    FFE081 - hex color value

    0x00FFE081 - end color
    1 - value of the start color
    15 - value of the end color

    I've managed to implement "firethrower" effect and it looks COOOL! dance
    There should be a new fire effect created, ie. fire_thrw to be closer for the real flame-thrower tank, like this:


    And there are some screens. I've implemented "crocodile" in the STA3.1. Later I'll add it to the STA2.2 and may be to STA1.2.
    Of course, after such beautiful screens we must create the appropriate mission for the "Churchill-crocodile"   shooter gcat

    "Churchill" is almost invulnerable to the 50mm gun KWK39. I'm not talking abt. 37mm gun. I've managed to stop this monster only when I hit his engine from the back.
