In August update there will be two new "sandbags_curved" objects:
    1. For AA guns, i.e. FLAK-36

    2. For AT guns, i.e PAK-40

First try to implement "station-house" destroyable. There are two objects separated.

Mod "Africa weather" updated to version 1.2.
    Added desert camo to:
    - tank M4A2
    - fueltruck Opel blitz
    - APC UC Bren

When I played stock mission for T-34, I heard a strange MG sound from German side. As it appeared ir was MG-42+sandbag Smile

That was a bug. Had to fix it.

And here's a new type of the trench. Suppose it looks more realistic, coz such trench has a ground slop. Perhaps I should add more bluring to the slope edges.

OK. Let's see the default example, then compare with a new ones. Personally, I'd be pleased to see sounds from General Frinik. He has a a very good collection!

Both MG34 and MG42 sounds bad and not the characteristic german mg sound, Same with the american M19A4, So crappy bad sounds right now =)
I'm pretty sure: many men - many thoughts, but we need base. Will it be good or bad - it doesn't matter, coz we need base itself. And as alternative version: we may always fix sound with additional mod/patch or whatever.

    PS
I think we should recover the former rank from the Graviteam forum. Of course, it's candies, but anyway.

I agree the current MG 42 is very good imo and very close to the original.I also use my own \mg34 sound from another game which I taken from the real MG34 sound. If you are interested.

Current sound m19a4 (consist of three sounds, real fire-rate calculated)
    mediafire.com/listen/kn2rsl4dv92cigp/shot_m19a4v2.wav

mg42 (there`s only one sound. Will73 calculated original fire-rate and now MG shoot closer to the real. Same was done with M2HB)
    mediafire.com/listen/v95m752h4ti4mhd/shot_mg42.wav

    mg34 (consist of four sounds)
    mediafire.com/listen/dr7a0w5ixvauwxo/shot_mg34.wav

Doktor Lockie as requested but a bit late as I  am always hyper busy these days:

My collection of shots sounds which I use in all my installations. Try them and picked those you like. They are all tested and compatible with SF no crash issues.

Also my collection of explosion and hit sounds many taken from you Very Happy and others and mine.

I could see an offensive type of mission for the KV-2 to test Generalfeldmarschall's von Loki 's new AT and Pak40 defences with sand bags and all. The KV-2 was essentially a predecessor of the JS-2 thus I could see it taking well concealed AT/artillery positions, infantry and buildingsin conjunction with with KV-1s while the Germans would have Stugs IIIF for defence in addition to the AT/artillery positions....

Hem I'll pass the loader position thank you and keep myself busy cleaning comrade Will1973 's new field toilets.... What a Face

Thank u Frinik! Mission for KV-2 started!
And here's one object/building - another hangar, which previously was implemented as hangar-tank, but as it appeared game-engine supports only tank with size no more than 8meters. So, now "hangar #1" made as building with 3LOD's (thanks to Donken!) and available for Game Editor. Now we have TWO types of hangars!

Can all the weather mods be activated at the same time (ie all be on the right side of the jsgme window) or must they be activated one at a time so they don't clash?

How do you tell which one is appropriate (other than the obvious Africa weather) or is it just down to user's taste?

It's on user taste. The main dif. between weather mod - it's armor map of the flora. In 'winter' mod trees has less armor, the bigger is in the `summer`. But the dif. in the armor is not big deal, coz it doesn't greatly effect gameplay.

it allows you to enable the appropriate season when playing a mission taking place in October 1943 or December 1942 or July 1944 etc...makes the game a bit more realistic and immersive.
