    Widescreen Fix

    Well i guess a standalone installer would be more versatile in case some peeps already have widescreen working ok?

    also, i can't download STA_GMP_3.32 at all? Every time i click on Download it opens spam betting sites etc??

    Help?

    Ok, got it!! There were 2 link to 3.2 and one was spam!

    Downloading 3.32 now.

    it is good for STA1.0, coz this mod is no longer in development. But I'm askin' abt. STA2.0. There is no "wide-screen-fix" yet.
    So, the question is:
    - should I implement it into the next update
    - or make it as a separate mod?

    Lockie my philosophy is : it's always better to incorporate an improvement in the mod rather than pile up mods on top of one another. Less risk of a conflict of files etc...

    Hi guys,

    The picture of the 4share site link you posted wasn't the one i was being directed to, it looked the same but was in Russian and the Download button just opened spam sites.  I found the proper one shortly after and have downloaded 3.32 now.

    As for the Widescreen Fix, reading frinik's comment i guess that would be better way to go?  You guys have far far more experience at working with these mods and helping guys like me get them installed and working.  So dropping it in with a future build of the mod is probably the answer?

    This wide screen fix works very well for me with STA 2.0: v09_fix_widescreen_v1.04_SepUpd_2015

    I have tried 2.0 with and with out it, without I have the wrong aspect ratio.

    I have a 16:9 monitor.

    I also have an interesting problem on 1.0 at the moment?

    In the Main Game Settings Menu if i set Image Quality to anything above the far left setting, it automatically switches my in-game resolution setting to 1024 x 768.

    If i go to the Graphics Settings menu and try re-setting my resolution to 1920 x 1080 (as it should be and runs fine at) then it automatically switches the Image Quality setting back to the far left (0) setting!!

    Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix?

    I have all the usual settings enabled/disabled:

    Use Desktop Resolution = Off
    No Video Restrictions = On

    Yes. STA2.0 is a main mod. FebUpd is update for the main mod. There will be soon March update with a mission No5 Campaign "Fury".

    U should work with file:
    Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\config\config.engcfg

    Or u may send it to me through e-mail and I'll make all necessary adjustments. Then I'll upload this setting for those who has monitor 16:9 with ratio 1920 x 1080.

    EDIT:
    Here's a quick fix to enable resolution 1920 x 1080, aspect 16:9.

    Hi guys, lockie asked me to post this report on an issue i had this afternoon when installing 2.0, the GMP's and Feb Update 2.0:

    Bug Report on installing STA 2.0 and GMP's

    The problem was that most but not all missions were crashing to desktop at the 100% point of the mission loading screen. Some gave the shader error text .doc message, some crashes occurred with no message at all.

    I had just installed all the latest 2.0 mods (see the attached JSGME install order image) and the 3 current GMP's. I checked for anything strange or unusual in my game and graphics settings, in nVidia Control Panel and also in my config.encfg file but couldn't see anything there that looked like a problem.

    Then after talking to lockie about it he asked if I had installed or re-installed the 4GB Patch. I had not as I understood that this patch usually only needed to be applied to starter.exe or shell.exe only once.

    But, lo and behold, I re-applied the patch and suddenly everything with STA 2.0 and the GMP's worked fine again.

    Here's the new and the last Upd for STA2.0, coz it is transformed into STA3.0  Cool
    Features of the STA2.0 March Update:
    1. fixed object "flowers"
    2. fixed object "House tika"
    3. re-organized objects names in ME
    4. added new objects:
    - tractor
    - junk frame
    - house "Homestead"
    5. added mission N5 to Campaign "Fury" (M4A3/76/E8)
    6. House "Barn No4" is destroyable

    PS
    The new main features of the STA3.0 are:
    - ability to continue on the mission to the last alive crew member or tank is still operational (still bugged, but works somehow)
    - tracks repairing (this feature effected the gameplay, coz now AI again moving after tracks had been repaired)
    - new sounds settings, which is more natural

    Awesome news lockie!  Especially the news about switching tanks and vehicle repair on 3.0!

    Apologies for not having got back to you with some testing on the "Fury" campaign but i have been very busy with studying for my MCSE exams and just haven't been able to spare the time.

    I will try and get some gameplay in over the weekend and post my thoughts and maybe some video.

    Keep up the good work mate and if you need any help let me know?

    No. The current version of STA2.1 is a transient stage to STA3.0.
    Mentioned tanks with cockpits already included in the alpha version CL, which was made by will73. Pz.III N already has a couple missions. Pz.III L is out, it didn't test under combat conditions yet.

    Hi Lockie

    I tried STA 2.1

    The loader says "on the way" when the round has been loaded. It should be something like "up". "on the way" is when the gunner has fired.

    This is in the "Fury" mission. It was there before but i thought it might have been changed.

    LIma33 already pointed that out. It's odd because the American voices were made by the Whukid I think and he served in the US army???

    That being said it would seem so much simpler to say "Löaded"!" or "In! änd 'Fire!""or Shoot"!
