    This is interesting!

Robert: Recently it was announced that the follow on to Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942, Steel Fury: Fall Blau was put on hold even though the simulation is completed. Could you elaborate why this decision was? When can we expect Steel Fury: Fall Blau?

Vladimir: Sorry, but I should defer this question to the producer, Discus Games.
It does Discuss can release this game at least on the Russia territory.

    This Company does not exist.

Smile
Discuss?
If Discuss doesn't exist, then who receives the money for the game SF sale?

Not surprised. Light house Interactive the Western distributor of SF went belly up in 2010. As for the rights I am not familiar with Russian bankruptcy laws so hard to tell. May be Vladimir Zelevnyi the CEO of Graviteam would know who holds the rights?

You can help me understand what it is said that the Fall blau can be bought? I myself am from Russia, where can I buy it? I can not sign it because it is necessary to pay for registration.

Fall Blau was released from what I understand in Russia, as I had the Russian version of it directly from Graviteam. I tried to integrate it into the EN release version of Steel Fury, but it didn't quite work. Smile

    Cyrillic isn't my strong suit

I don't think u can buy it. As I've understood it is alpha-version and perhaps it's out of order, coz there is complains the game is crispy and smth. wrong with fonts.
Would be great, if author RainMan has ability to visit our forum. Perhaps, we may help him.
Unfortunately, I can't register there. It is tricky process and requesting the money to be paid or smt. Though, I've win xp sp2 and perhaps it does matter during registration.
Anybody have account at steamcommunity to invite author to us?

We never see Faul blau, because the developers never make it Sad

    http://steamcommunity.com/app/286280/discussions/0/490123197956780213/#p2
    Well guys
    Graviteam will not:
    1) Make another tanksim in the next few years (3+)
This makes no sense, as an existing tank simulator (SABOW) is more than enough for 1 developer
    2) Publish Steel Fury
    3) Remaster and publish Steel Fury
    4) Publish Fall Blau
All this makes no sense, since we already have one tank simulator (and not have rights for this games), which is much more advanced on everything

    Graviteam can:
    0) Maintain and develop SABOW
    1) Add new vehicles and weapons
    2) Add new battlefields (to SABOW) in existing settings an close to it
    3) Add new battlefields in new settings
    4) Add cockpits for existing tanks
    5) Add new tanks with cockpits

And most likely we will do it, but something is already done. Therefore build their proposals and suggestions on this basis, rather than from some strange ideas (about SF or somthing).

I entirely agree with what Duckling posted. Any hope, wish or dream that Graviteam will update or remaster or upgrade SF is a mere pipedream. They said many times over that they have crossed SF from their mind. They don't hold the rights and they are not interested in reviving the game. For them turn-based games or semi simulators like Operation Star hybrid games like Steel Armour BoW are the way of the future. WW2 tank simulators are a niche market which no company is interested in investing into. It's painful to say but it's the truth and we might as well accept it.

Yeap, Fall Blau is interested only for the SF veterans. (I think no more than 10-20 persons). Newcomers doesn't care a bit abt. this game. The game market is a big. There is always a choice to pick up any.

    cheers bom drunken

Lord Haw-Haw, u already included in the first "10" Wink
Personally, I'd be happy to see the new missions, which were included in FB.
I remember, perhaps 3 years ago I started to collect the list with customers who wanted to participate in the new patch creating by Graviteam for the SF. We collected virtually approximately 1000$
The sums were different ~(20-100)$ The list contained ~50 customers, but suppose we asked too much Very Happy
Nevertheless, we may try to organize such list once again. It's a commercial suggestion. Patch for the SF is a quite standard thing. Moreover, Graviteam released 4 patches for SF without had been paid for it. So, let's them release another one this time for the money. Of course, first of all, would be interested to know what the min sum, which has interest for the Campaign to do smth.
As my point it should be near 10 000$

    PS
There is only one problem - Graviteam is not interested in money. It is independent Campaign, which prefer to make things, which they like.
There were rumors, that game making is just a hobby and not the main job.

    Hi Lockie,

I would pay to get the "Fall Blau" content released as a patch for Steel Fury (including all its fixes and enhancements). We should try again to see if we can collect enough money to convince Graviteam. I have sent a PM to you !

Here is a list of improvements of Fall Blau compared to the original Steel Fury.

    List of improvements:

    1. Subtitles (we already have that in the western SF release)
    2. German crew voices (we already have that in the western SF release).
    3. Graphics-smoothing (new render).
    4. New player controlled tank PzJager1.
    5. New player controlled tank PzIVF1.
    6. Training missions now with T34.
    7. 10 new maps.
    8. 20 new missions.
    9. All SF patches (5) are integrated.
    10. Realistic and animated track repair (the own crew repairs).
    11. New, improved and corrected gun sights on all tanks.
    12. New, corrected and improved animations and poses for the tank crew (looks indeed nicer).
    13. New animations for PzJager1 added.
    14. New AI algorithm for planes.
    15. AI for infantry and tanks was improved.
    16. Tank tracks were improved.
    17. Corrected ballistics.
    18. Damage types were improved.
    19. Improved vegetation models.
    20. New divisional units are available in the editor.
    21. New divisional markers for additional tank units were added and corrected, turret numbering is corrected.
    22. Compass includes now directional figures for better aiming.
    23. New and improved 3D cockpit for the T34.
    24. The German sight is corrected.
    25. The menu is improved.

I am willing to contribute in US or Euros but please not through Paypal.

The rumour about the Graviteam staff not living off their games is true. They are just not making enough money to live off the product of their work so they have regular day jobs to sustain their families. At least that 's what the CEO Vladimir Zelevnyi said in an interview in the past.

However Lockie - my friend - without wanting to be a party-poop the issue of them making a patch seems to me a lost cause. Because Graviteam :

    1) do not own the rights to Steel Fury

    2) no longer have access to the game code. I think they disposed of it when they sold their rights to Lighthouse and Discus.

    Doesn't hurt to try though....

Frinik, I completely agree with u and share the doubts that this is a vain thing. SF is almost already dead game, so what could be worst than it is? Very Happy Ask for the patch? bom
I tried 3 years ago and failed. Then there should be the other person. I think RainMan is a good person or Panzerfaust. Of course, if they want to take part.

    Graviteam's crew   Laughing

    Graviteam took part in WoT.
