    It is a good try to accommodate "Steel blaze" to the setting of WWII!
    The best trick is replacing default Africa' flora texture with a similar from Europe Very Happy Thus, user has ability to pretend he is playing on the European theater Cool
    User must have both "Achtung" and "Steel blaze" installed. Though, such kind of disguise doesn't change the game content. It is still the strategy with elements of tanksim.
    Well, it's not a big deal. There are many users who likes such gameplay, but there are still no missions, inspite devs declared of them presence. And of course, there are no scripts. It does user can't create his personal missions, he can always follow to AI instructions. As my point: no missions - no interest.
    Though, I remember how devs promised: there would never-forever-whatever any missions in our games Very Happy
    So, I'm pretty sure the scripts appearing - it's a matter of time. Of course, if "Steel blaze" will become a commercial thing, but not the dev's toy.

    Lockie, can you introduce how to install and use the mod? The readme is Cyril, I can not understand.

    About missions, the latest update has been added to several single missions (Although they are all training mission). I think they should have a script.

    YL, I didn't install this mod, coz I've old disk version, which I suppose doesn't suit to the new patches. I may only translate the "readme".

    -technicks, soldiers model, objects, seasons, sounds from "Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star" into "Steel Armor: Blaze of war"
    - "new" techniks added to the game encyclopedia
    - it is included the option to play for the Germany in the quick battle
    - the gun pak35 added for the testing under user' control
    Added the next gunsight reticles:

    - Sfl.Z.F. 1a

    Added under user' control a new techniks/artillery/anti-tank rockets(atr):

    Installation:
    Mod requires the presence of the both game : GTOS(June 2015 patch) and SABOW.
    In case, you have a previous installed version, then you may simply copy the content of the mod folder to the folder, which is located:
    ...Steel Blaze\data\mtc80\mod
    with a subsequent files replacement.
    There are changed seasons in the folder UA_summer for the standard cards, polygons and Cuito Cuanavale landscape. What does it change? It is changed surface texture and vegetation on the map of the African jungle. In fact, we obtains an essentially European forests.

    The seasons Installing:
    Copy with a subsequent files ***.cfgpack replacement to the folder with a map, where you want to change the season. Be sure to keep the original files!

    Mod installation
    1. Unpack the archive from the folder:
    ...gtos\data\k43t\shared\packed_data
    2. Copy the files to the folder:
    ...\mod\CORE\shared\packed_data

    Rename the next files:
    gos_builds.flatdata    64,3Mb  -> gos_builds1.flatdata

    A new utility is now available Object Viewer. I think it is the same as Object Editor in SF.

    I was a little corrected it under "Steel Beat" works. Tested on versions 1983, 2570 and 2899 stimovsky.

    I want a mod to remove gear switch sound and turret movement sound (maybe another one with less noise) Smile, not many mods for this game.

    I think, it's possible. Anyway, all STA team efforts led to improve SF. What do u think: does it take an efforts to resolve this small issue via donation?
    SABOW is a very difficult game for modding. I'd say, it is 5 times more difficult than SF.

    I just found graviteam forum and sabow thread/topic with posts from different users, i search there some fixes, to bad is hard to mod this game, its a nice sim with modern tanks from 80' 90'

    update:
    till now i found some fixes for higer fps:
    simple shader on
    shader off (important)
    shadow normal
    grass high
    sharper on
    smoke decrease to high
