    I've found in my old docs that in SF implemented "random penetration". The value is 5%. It does that 76mm gun of T-34 may penetrate through the frontal armor of the Panther in 5 cases from 100 ones.
    I've to note it had place. Sometimes, one of the crew members killed, but there ware no any penetration and any visual hits. I've to say 5% is a big value, which does effect on gameplay.
    I think this "random penetration" simulates defects of the armor.

    Where do you find that quotient? In the common res files?

    This is quote from devs from "sukhoi" forum. I've another one. SF was released in the summer 2007, as I remember. After a while Graviteam announced a new add-on: Battle at Moscow, 1941.
    Features:
    - two new cockpits Pz.III, T-60
    - 10 new models
    - new textures for the existed models, according to the winter period
    - new place and time of the battles (suppose at night?)
    - ability to play through the LAN(!)
    - two Campaigns, each contains 10 missions (planning 12 missions)
    - destroying objects (bridges, houses)

    Ran across this very same event while running CNC drilling equipment. Had 3/4 and even larger sized drills run into hard slag or other items in pig iron cast. The drills either shattered or self destructed when hitting these imperfections in the pig iron.

    A little scary when it happens, even if you have enough time to hit the emergency stop button there is nothing you can really do, except check to see if your still all there and do not have any holes or missing parts yourself. Shocked

    Woofie; I understood the first time Wink what it meant but my question was where do I find the 5% value Lockie referred to? Is it embedded in the code of the game or is it to be found in a file like the common resolution?
