    Editting the numbers on German tanks

    Post by KurtTank on Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:01 pm

    My German tanks all have number 311 on them. My MOD is Tiger IIs and Jagdtigers on the German side. Any way they can have different numbers?

    Jagdtiger One

    Jagdtiger Two

    What is the insignia name?
    Insignia keeps here:
    \data\k42\loc_rus\levels\levels\spec\markers.engcfg

    Perhaps German tankmen had only one stencil "311" Rolling Eyes

    No idea. I'll look into it.

    I had used in units/tactical marks all the same tactical mark: wer_comp_20a_t_knght, so they all had the same number (learning something new every day!). So how do I change the tactical mark to make each different?

    It's a long and complicated story. In short, each insignia has a personal row of the numbers (5 psc). In our case wer_comp_20a_t_knght has five red numbers:
    wer_comp_20a_t_knght()
    {
    //slot, name1 (const), name2 (number), probability, prefix to number
    num,  r3,                 11,               1,     r;
    mark, mark_505ttb, ,   1,             ;
    marks,    mark_cross,         ,               1,      ;
    }
    where
    r3=3
    mark_505ttb - insignia "knight"
    r3,-0.3,-0.3,tac_marks3,sh_marks,128,0,64,64;// (coordinates in common_res.engcfg)
    It does we've: 311, 312, 313, 314, 315

    If u want additional numbers, then make new entry:
    wer_comp_20a_t_knght211-215()
    {
    //slot, name1 (const), name2 (number), probability, prefix to number
    num,  r2,                 11,               1,     r;
    mark, mark_505ttb, ,   1,             ;
    marks,    mark_cross,         ,               1,      ;
    }
    where
    r2=2
    We've: 211, 212, 213, 214, 215

    Or
    wer_comp_20a_t_knght521-525()
    {
    //slot, name1 (const), name2 (number), probability, prefix to number
    num,  r5,                 21,               1,     r;
    mark, mark_505ttb, ,   1,             ;
    marks,    mark_cross,         ,               1,      ;
    }
    where
    r5=5
    We've: 521, 522, 523, 524, 525
