    You could insert a time trigger so your AT crews will move their guns to specific emplacements once the artillery barrage is finished. Meanwhile place them our of the arty barrage zone. Often during the war the Germans were informed of possible Soviet offensives and would move their units back from the frontline but a few kilometres and come back after the usual , predictable Soviet arty strike.

    Good advice. Unfortunately, Triggers still confuse me. I could just move the contour lines around the emplacements so they aren't hit, then reduce the probability of their being there. What would the trigger script look like?

    Not sure but what I would do is enter a trigger " wait for time". Use the slider to assign the duration of the waiting time. then enter a movement script with the particular zone you have assigned for each gun emplacement .At the given time your gun crews will start pushing their guns to chosen emplacements, then stop and aim.

    It's easy deal. U've to understand only one thing - trigger has two conditions: 0 or 1. "1" does "switch on", "0" does "switch off". That's all.
    If u want to use "time trigger" u need to specify what the time is? I.e. let it be 1 minute. Then after AT guns will start to move to the appropriate contour.
    Here's a sample from trigger block.
    triggers()
    {
    01_timer, 0x20007, 1.000;
    }
    where:
    01_timer - trigger name
    0x20007 - code of the "timer trigger"
    1.000 - 1 minute

    At the default condition trigger has "0" value. When time will over, then trigger "switch on" and get condition "1". It'll be indicator for the movement.
    Here's script for the ATG:
    sc_atg_01()
    {

    ext, wait_tr, 01_timer;//waiting when 1 minute will pass
    ext, ai_form, 0;//formation
    ext, ai_setstate, 0x1, 0;//movement mode
    ext, ai_move, sov_tac_0, false, -1, 15;//movement to the contour
    }
    Here's a tiny trick. There are 5 contours of the destination:
    sov_tac_01
    sov_tac_02
    sov_tac_03
    sov_tac_04
    sov_tac_05
    I specified only sov_tac_0 without ending. So, each time AI will pick up where to randomly.
    Here's initial position:

    ATG has started moving. Unfortunately, AI doesn't has idea how to move to the destination point at the shortest way.

    It is arriving. For some reasons, AI didn't want to arrive exactly at the specified position.
