Crashing to desktop with error/006: Unable to create shader?

Post by signs on Sun Aug 02, 2015 9:38 pm

In my JSGME my order is:

    SSM 2.0
    STA 1.0 full
    STA GMP 1.45
    STA GMP 2.35
    STA GMP 3.3
    Feb Upd. 2015

And when i attempt to load any missions, I get

    Exception core:
    006: Unable to create shader.

    [ fader ]

upon loading completing and then a crash to desktop. Anyone experienced this?

    Hi signs,

Please, make sure that the AntiAliasing is set to "Application controlled" in your graphic card.

It means your gpu is under strain and cannot come up with the graphic resources required to start the mission. This is particularly true with infantry or tank intensive missions.

SF is a poorly optimized game which does fully utilises all the cores of your cpu. ( I assume you probably have at least a four core Intel or AMD cpu)?

What are your specs exactly? That will help determine what game and graphic settings you can use without experiencing a crash?
