This could be an added feature for adding multi-mission goals into one mission. For example a mission that attacks a entrench defensive position, then continues on to attack a town, but afterwards has to defend it's own position against a counterattack. Some what like this "Hot summer 1943 (Pz.III N)" mission that has two parts.
Yeah, it's a god idea to add additional mission with a name "Hot summer 2". Let's say we've captured Ponyri, then prepare to repel the enemy counter-attack.
I.e. after village capturing we'are waiting for trucks with supplay, then we've some choices:
    1. repel counter attack (5xT-34+inf. platoon), which will come directly to the village Ponyri
    2. OR we attack another village with a weak defence (2x45 ATG + inf. squad), then repel enemy counter-att (i.e. 10xT-34+inf. platoon)
    3. OR first repel, then attack and once again repel Very Happy

I like all variants. We can make first task random. I.e. soviet tanks:
    - attack (30% probability)
    - don't attack (70% probability)
then we go over railroad and capture village "Kalyna"(near forest) and prepare to repel count-att. Wink
But there is one problem, as u've already known, Pz.III N is a very weak as AT unit. So, there should be Panther or Tiger as a leader of group.

Yes, maybe the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. N could be working for say with a motorized Panzergrenadier unit keeping eye on the flanks of a Tiger/Panther unit which would be the spearhead of the attack/counterattack.

    1. repel counter attack (5xT-34+inf. platoon), which will come directly to the village Ponyri

    1. Repel
    2. Counterattack
    3. Resupply
    4. Repel or Attack

Or something along those lines. One thing it would be a long and hot summer day! Smile

Sounds like a fun idea to me. Maybe a cool thing to do would be to add some T-70s to the last counterattack and maybe another inf platoon or two, with a SU-76 battery for support, to spice it up a bit Very Happy

Maybe even some Stuka support for the Germs when that mass of Russians starts attacking, as to make it a bit more hectic - iirc, they had plenty of air-support at Kursk.

We've to clear up situation. New mission will be continue on from the first or a separate one?
Coz if it's "continue on", then we badly need a resupply and reinforcement at the captured village "Ponyri". It goes without saying, coz after attack we completely out of ammo.

OR if it is a new mission, then we don't need supply and may repel/attack right immediately. BUT when we'll get resupply? In the village "Kalynovka"? Or should we get in another place?

Personally, I'd prefer resupply at Ponyri as continue on part of the first mission, then repel etc.

It's possible to implement a big quantity on the balance "3-4", then replace them on T-34/SU-122 on the balance "5-6-7-8".

Maybe even some Stuka support for the Germs
OK. I can do it as "Stukas" will appear from "3" balance to the "5",  after no aviation support anymore. Of course, IL-2 will be presented also, starting from balance "5".

Would it not be faulty to halt an offensive. LoL   Evil or Very Mad

I believe that continuing on with a resupply and reinforcement at the captured village "Ponyri" would keep the enemy off balance and prevent them from coordinating a new defense line and that we should have enough ammo on board with a resupply & reinforcement at Ponyri to complete a full 3-4 part mission.  Provided of course that we survive that long! LoL  Cool

    As Gen Patton once stated...

“Infantry must move forward to close with the enemy. It must shoot in order to move…. To halt under fire is folly. To halt under fire and not fire back is suicide.

    Officers must set the example”

Yes! And here we're with "Hot summer 1943, part II".

This time we've to capture village "Kalyna" and repel the Soviet frontal tank attack. This time 3xPz.III N(from 2d Pz.Div) will follow on the 2xPanthers D from 10th Tank Brig.

Можу сказати, що точно в Липні місяці. Довелось трошки полігон змінити, щоб підлаштуватись під задачі місії. Тож доведеться по новому тягнути GMP1.4x або встановлювати місію окремо.

This "Hot Summer II Pz III N" mission is one mission that has action coming at you from all sides, from the beginning all the way through till the final victory. If you make it that far!  Shocked

Excellent job of setting up the missions paths of action and enemy positions. You really have to dig these enemy units out of their foxholes and watch out for those Soviet tank's creeping around your flanks.

Really excellent job putting this mission together. Thank's to all.  Very Happy

    A couple of screens.
