    According to my calculation there will be four episodes - four missions.
    1. Go through the forest against Hitlerjugend/Gebirgsjager with Panzerschreck.
    2. Attack german positions with AT guns (near forest)
    3. Capture the town
    4. Crossroad: M4A3 vs infantry
    But it's impossible to place on the one polygon all four episodes. Three goes without any problems. For the next four episode there is no place. So, I've to make another polygon only for the one mission. It sounds not attractive to me.
    So, I think the final episodes could be delayed or even put out. Anyway, we don't have the model "house-hospital"(which is a central part of the mission) and I don't think it'll be interesting during the whole mission shoot the stupid AI-infantry. Three episodes would be quite enough.
    For the first mission polygon is almost ready. I'll name it as "Trap in the forest".

    Here's a table where Wardaddy had a meeting with a Captain (Old Man). Well, it doesn't look exactly, coz inctead Colt there was Garand. But as u can see there is original(!) map and pencil and of course whiskey bottle Cool

    It is inside destroyed plant(saw-plant?) or store. have no idea. The building is quite big.

    Of course, all items are just a candies, but I like them Smile

    There will be a new building - storehouse. Thus the place were Wardaddy meets with Oldman is almost ready.

    It's failed attempt by Patton to free Allies POWs behind German lines in March 1945:

    It is a good scenario! I think it's possible to create such mission, but we need a new house - barrack for the captured soldiers.

    Unlike Fury and Hollywood there's no happy ending in that failed enterprise.
    I'd not tell that "Fury" ending is happy.

    There are some screens.
    1. Here's a final place for the first mission, where user have to go and meeting "Baker Company".

    2. This is a forest where Fallschirmjäger made an ambush on the American tank group.

    Today I've given a first try to start the mission. Right immediately, I got CTD Very Happy
    As it appeared, there were some objects placed out of the polygon's working area. OK, I've fixed error and re-generate polygon once again.
    I did another try and yet another CTD Shocked
    This time the issue was a bit harder to fix. During investigation, I've found out that soldier must has at least one weapon. Of course, I've made "captured German soldiers" without weapon and ammunition, that's why I've got CTD. I had to equip them with pistol (invisible texture and no cartridges). Now it works fine, testing go on.

    We need a couple(or more) new buildings for the fourth episode - Battle in town.

    Would be nice to place the piano in the center of square Surprised Then blow it up! Cool

    Steel Achtung/Blaze may suggest only a work as a game. I mean, both games like play the chess. It's interesting, but there is no fun anymore, at least for me.

    Here's a new issue. I can't place on the polygon more than one infantry platoon for both sides Sad If I place two platoons the game loaded without problems, but immediately after starting it's CTD. It does there will be no more than one infantry squad at the American camp. Perhaps, polygon is overloaded with a many objects, which caused a big memory consumption or may be there are other reasons.
    Good news I've managed to resolve the problem with "target" placing. U may place them only on the asphalt material, in case of ground the "target" goes down.


    But now it was fixed.

    I think I've found what was the reason to crash the mission if there were more than one infantry platoon. needs more testing.
    Meanwhile, tank column started to move to meet with a Company Baker. There are only two types of the tanks: M4A3/76W and M4A1/75.

    Yeah, I hope you manage to fix the infantry problem, one platoon really seems like too few for a mission of this scale; imho, 3 platoons are a bare minimum, one in the forest, one dug-in around the AT gun position and one in the town you are supposed to capture.

    Might be cool to have a 2-platoon counterattack once you capture the town, armed with Panzerschrecks and maybe Panzerfausts, if that isn't too hard to implement, as a single shot disposable AT weapon? And if 2 more platoons of inf isn't too much for the map, memory-wise?

    There is a huge memory consumption because of the new units: captured German soldiers (POW/Prisoner of war) and many objects, especially mines. So, now there will be only two infantry squads in the Camp and one advanced Gebirgsjäger squad in the forest. That's all. May be someone will manage to place more infantry, but I can't because of the memory lack. We will find out the exact limits during testings.

    After a sever battle with German tanks there was only one US tank survived form the third Company. It was tank "Sherman" M4A3/76E8 HVSS under command Staff Sergeant Don Collier 'Wardady'.
    Після тривалого та жорсткого бою з німецькими військами третя рота 66-го танкового полку понесла значні втрати. Вцілив лише один танк "Шерман" M4A3/76E8 та його екіпаж, котрим командує Старший Сержант Дон Колієр "Вояка".

    I'd like to share another issue Smile
    This time Gebirgsjager didn't want to keep their positions Shocked Right now when they saw the tank, they lost their positions and ran away! Rolling Eyes
    I forced them to stay "in trenches", increased morale to "100" - it didn't help. Infantry ran away at early convenience Very Happy
    Then I applied TWO scripts to the infantry:
    1. infantry take defence positions
    2. infantry take ambush positions
    Scripts doesn't has "ending" and that's why AI behavior is different each time. And it worked! Cool

    I just didn't put this tank in the game yet. Would be nice to add additional MG's on the turret top and cockpit, though its not a fundamental questions.

    In the final release it'll be E8 with two MG's on the turret top. But now it is a simple model for the alpha testing.
