    Here's a new video by Hans76GD

This is mission No1 from Campaign Nazi power (Tiger I "Großdeutschland").
I see that during the mission the Tiger's barrel was damaged.
It is a very hard mission. User must take a command under wingmen and clear the area for panzergrenadiers, then capture the hill and repel the enemy counter-attack. Pay attention that average fps is abt. 7(!) I think this is because of the updated graphics effects.

Played barely 3.30 minutes and after killing a dug-in T34 and a 76 mm AT gun I was hit by a 57 mm shot form 1150 metres and my commander was killed .Mission failed!

I did a recording of it. I''l try again. It's very difficult because the damned guns and tanks/spgs are cleverly dug and well concealed from the battlefield plus they are on a sort of flat mound which conceals them further from the attacking tigers. The arty barrage also stirs up dust and makes visibility more challenging.

Let's go for second this time I'll try a flanking rather than a head on attack.

Could u make a footage with this mission on the base of STA3.x? In this way u don't be bothered with commander killing, coz u may continue on the mission. Aslo don't froget to switch on fps indicator. Just wonder how it does bounce

    PS
    A couple advices:
    1. Shoot as more AT guns from the distance. AI indicator doesn't work, coz a distance is too long (more than 1000m)
    2. Keep wingmen close to u and send them forward in trenches as a shield.

Video presentation of the Japanese Community MOD. Looks nice!  :[*:
There are new: tanks Mouse, E-79, new sounds and missions. AFAIK, it is compatible with STA1.2.

I took all the videos off of my personal page and put them on my new YouTube page - KurtTank. Here is the Jagdpanzer IV video from Rends mission (heavily modified), and I know the Jagdpanzer IV wasn't at Kursk!

    KurtTank, this is good video!
But Panther ausf.A was not produced yet on July 12, 1943.

Yeah, I screwed up on that one. tongue According to my research, there weren't any Panthers at the Battle of Prokhorovka on July 12. Only in the north with Grossdeutschland. Already had made the video when I found out!

I have completed a Tiger I variation that is more accurate with Churchills as well. I'll post it as soon as I win the mission... cheers

I would have thought the IS-3 would easily destroy the King Tiger!

I couldn't help myself to play this mission after video watched. Of course HE shell can't destroy the TigerII, but it can damage the gun, demoralize the crew and force them to bail out.
    The idea of the mission:
    - break the enemy attack
    - destroy the enemy column
From the very beginning I've sent my wingmen with infantry to the true death - help defenders and distract the enemy attention from my tank. Meanwhile, I went to the bushes and prepared the ambush.
First Tiger2 I've seen at ~1000m. I hit it, but frontal armor was too strong for my shot. In the future this Tiger will cause me the big headache as the most tough tank!

Second Tiger went in front of the wood and showed me his weak side. I got him!

Then it was a turn for two APC's Puma. Two HE shots - two kills.

The script of this mission is quite tricky and I decided to look around. It was in time! Third Tiger sneak up to me at the distance ~300m!
I was lucky to see him first and shoot! No penetration. Me and AI started to retreat from each other. I tried to escape in the bush, then shot - gotcha!

And finally the enemy column appeared in front of mine.

Easy money, - I thought, but it wasn't!
There was another Tiger2, in front of me at 500 meters! Though, he didn't bring me a troubles and after my first shot the sick black smoke went up from his hull.

And in this time I discovered, that column was under protection of my old acquaintance from the first meeting. OK - take this! ... My shots didn't effect at all.
I spent 5 shots and could not hit him!

Moreover, soon ANOTHER Tiger2 joint to him for hunting at me!
At this time I had only one AP shot, which of course didn't affect at any of them. But to my luckiness the second tank stuck in the hole and I started to shot with HE shell and MG.

Supposed, I've damaged the gun of my old "friend" and the next shot at him became a fatal! I don't know how, but I hit something and Tiger2 blew up! The distance was no more than 100meters. May be spalls hit the ammo or whatever. So, now I have a duel with his companion. I was out of ammo and started to shoot at his gunsights slits with my MG. Finally, the crew became demoralized, bail out and found their death under my bullets.

    Shazaaam! That was exciting kaboom!
But why mission is not completed yet?
And as answer on my question I got a message:
This is Thunder. Gorobyna, move to defence positions, find and destroy all enemy tanks!
    OK, let's move out!
On the way, I've killed some Gebirgsjager and found damaged, but still alive Puma. A couple burst from my MG and crew bail out and run away. It was enough for the victory!

I've to say - I've got a big portion of adrenaline!  salute  yahoo   salute
My tank after battle. I've forgotten to mention afert one hit my gun elevetor device became damaged. I couldn't move it down. So, I had to find some small knolls to shoot down.

FIVE King Tigers! I really deserved Lenin Order on my chest!
    My trophies:

As u can see - shooting at his frontal armor is a useless deal.
The most vulnerable part of the KTII is upper top of the turret and back part of the hull. Though, AI was smart enough didn't disclosure this part in front of me Smile

Congrats Lockie you have the instincts of a tank hunter-killer. What a Face

I'll have t make a video of  mission using my new Asus ROG 502-VS gaming laptopequipped With an intel i7 6700HQ 2.6 to 3.1 ghtz, 16 gb of DDR4 RAM, an Nvidia GTX 1060 gpu with 6gb of GDDR5 VRAM and equivalent to a desktop one as the Pascal gpus are the same for deskptop or laptops.... I can play  a user-made mission with 60 tanks and lots of infantry everything maxxed out at 40 fps and the colours on the 1920 X 1080 screen are absolutely gorgeous! But that machine which weighs barely 2.13 kilos can heat up to 82 degrees celsius in barely 30 minutes of gaming, I need 2 external fans and a cooling pad to keep it from being too hot. But compared to my old G750 JMAsus laptop  Shocked with an i7 4700HQ 2.4 gthz, 16gb of ddr3 ram and a Maxwell GTX 860M with 2gbs of gddr5 vram it's a killer!

Nope it's the same camo the Ausf D has been using since it was originally released in SF in 2010.
