    Here's another mission. wrote:

Have to say that these Villers-Bocage missions are great. Impressive planning along with thought out twist and turns, so that the missions follow out as a fairly realistic time period tanker mission would have. Well done.  Very Happy

Have not yet completed a full "Last Nazi Chance (Pz.IV H)" mission though, as the opposition is unwavering in their defense and attacks.  Shocked

But have a screenshot from the mission.

So if you are looking for a walk in the sun with a little relaxation added in, you came to the wrong area.   Shocked

A couple of small problems with the Villers Bocage missions.

    1. The quotes during the loading of the English versions of the "Villers Bocage missions", all three missions sometimes are not displayed in English while the mission is loading.

    2.  Markings on the player's Panzer IV H are not lined up correctly.

Otherwise these Villers Bocage missions are running fine.

One of the many items I have noticed happening during a mission is the brewing up or secondary explosion of the disabled tanks. Don't know if this is a recent addition to the game and did try to get a screenshot. But it is Wicked!  Very Happy

I've made a mix with ukr/eng quotes Smile

Yes, sometimes it happens, coz there is no universal mark/insignia.

Otherwise these Villers Bocage missions are running fine.
    cheers

It is default feature, but may be some of the modders made it more frequently.

An unrelated idea, but since the Pz IV H was one of the most common German tanks, maybe an addition of random stowage/equipment (like on the Cromwell & Sherman) would be a nice touch to enhance their appearances - maybe perhaps a random skin variation (like the ones that are available for the Panthers) also? Smile

And also, could there be a way to have versions with only turret Schürtzen side-skirts installed? And another thing that would be cool is to have some of them missing single skirts on their hulls, for variation as well? Smile

Not all (or really any) of these are a must, but they would sure be a nice touch if will is willing to work his modelling magic some more Very Happy

kapulA... did you do the Pz IV H model?  Excellent work.  Smile

Having a problem with the "Last Nazi Chance (Pz.IV H)" mission. When my Pz IV H gets close to the town and city hall, the game freezes up and I can not get the game to restart?

Maybe this is happening because I'm finally insight of victory with this mission! LoL Laughing

But it has happened twice now and I have gone through all of my computer programs to made sure that they are shut down during the game and causing this to effect the game after the first freeze up. Although this has not happened with any other SF mission.

A couple of screenshots from the "Last Nazi Chance (Pz.IV H)" mission.

I think, I know what happens. Sometimes, stupid AI concentrated units on the one point and game freezes.
U may see that, if u activate mod "free camera".

There is a cluster of German AI tanks at the top of the hill after the first engagement. The freezing happens as the player's tank is leaving the hill or as your coming into the outskirts of the town.

I will try the "free camera" and see what happens. Smile

Believe you are correct "Sometimes, stupid AI concentrated units on the one point and game freezes" as I swing around the top of the hill, staying clear of the other AI units and completed the mission with no freezing afterwards.

And I did used the "Free Camera" in order to do this.

Maybe a little tweeking of the AI tanks can help in this matter.  Smile

Screen below you can see the concentrated tanks/units on top of the hill.

And now thanks to the excellent work of will73 we've got a new building "open theater"! It does that July Update 2015 is ready to release  bom

    Very nice screenshots !!

Let me suggest something: could you please consider doing a historically correct gunsight for the Pz.IV H tank? I would appreciate it very much  cheers

    Hi, Txema!
I can't promise anything. All gunsigths are under will73 responsibility. So, we should ask him what he thinks abt. it. But as my my point it's impossible to implement such gunsight without source code of the game.

    BTW
May be we should organize an e-mail request to share source code of SF to the game producers? Lighthouse?
