How does morale effect the units behavior?

Post by lockie on Sat Oct 25, 2014 2:24 pm

This question is still out of my understanding Smile
Theoretically, the less morale - the big chance units will retreat during defence/attack. But according to my experience it doesn't make a big dif.
Sometimes, crew members bail out(light damaged) even if morale 90%. Sometimes crew sitting to the end until tank blow up. Same situation with infantry. U can't predict how long infantry take place in the trench or attack.
Would be interesting to make some special experiments. Let's say we've platoon of Soviet infantry in the trench with morale 100%. Against two Tiger I. How long infantry will take seat, if the morale 100% or 0%?

I agree with you experience and morale don't seem to have a huge impact on the AI.I still put them at max but my observation is that it doe snot make a big difference compared to 0 values....
