    Sight Illumination

Post by panzerfront on Thu Oct 16, 2014 6:35 pm

Is there a way to increase the illumination of the sight reticle in SF1942?  I see the "C" command to illuminate, but its not enough against some backrounds.  Help or advice is appreciated.

Illumination u mean more brighter? If so then I think it's possible, if I got er point right. I remember when I made my first reticles I painted them in a red color, thus all reticles were very good as visible ones. But as it appeared, it wasn't close to the original bright. Since will73 involved into ALL reticle producing, now all reticles has pink illumination and has been made closer to the default ones. I mean he is responsible for that kind of work and I'm pretty sure he will not change anything in his technology, coz he keeps to the original standards Smile
Anyway, there is choice for u to change reticle brightness, of course if u're ready to do that Wink I may support u with tutorial and some basic source code of the reticles.
